I just want a basic SMS program for Twilio

That's it. I would like to be able to use my longcodes and to have the ability to select unlimited keywords. I don't necessarily care about punch cards, polls, client logins, or anything else. I have an online software purchased from here that doesn't work, and a wordpress plugin from here that doesn't work. Just the basic ability to integrate with Twilio and send basic text messages. It can be a plugin, or a platform online, whatever. Does such a simple system exist? I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for things I don't have interest in using currently. I need to prove to myself that I can market SMS services locally and develop a market first, so I'm looking for a minimum viable system to get me started. Later I can transition to all of the bells and whistles if I can start getting clients. I've been looking and doing a ton of research, and I can't find what I'm looking for. Great platforms exist, for sure, but they are more than I want or need currently. I realize that there is something called OpenVBX and that you can develop things off of that, but it is over my head and would take a lot of time to develop something from where I am right now as a novice to such.

So, does anyone here know of a simple, easy to use system whereby I can build lists by keywords and schedule basic messages as needed with minimal cost, using Twilio?

Try this link and watch the short video. It does talk about using sms as a punch card etc but I have used it just as a general sms tool through Twillio. Best part is it's free, all you have to have is a Twillio account.

Thanks, but after hours and hours of searching, I think I found a simple platform to work with. I haven't had much time to play with it, but I stumbled on:

      www.Betwext.com

This looks like what I was looking for, though it doesn't necessarily use Twilio that I know of. The price appears to be the same.

Thanks for the betwext link. I signed up and have been testing it out. It's pretty simple and straight forward. I realize it's an SMS platform but they do have a way to create a "signup form" that you can capture name, phone and email. You place the form on a landing page and the only drawback is if someone subscribes to your list there isn't the capability to either text or email to the subscriber they were successful signing up.

What you have to do when you create the form is give a url address to a web page where the subscriber is sent after submitting their info.

If they subscribe via texting a keyword to your phone number then they do have an autoresponder for the text sign up.

OpenVBX is very easy to use. If you can drag and drop you can create what you are looking for in about 30 seconds. PM me if you need help with this.
