I don't know of any free software that is any good.

You really get what you pay for. If you want to create mobile sites then you are best to buy some type of software or service that is supported and free products usually have very little support or updates.

There are many good builders avaliable online.

I suggest going for something that is quick and easy that makes beautiful apps that clients love.

Many of the free builders have ads built in or don't work on all smart phones.

I would pay for decent mobile website design software, this way I don't have to pay recurring fees to an online mobile website creator platform!

I searched internet for good software to install on your computer to design mobile sites with, but did not find good quality software. Only online membership mobile design services of which I paid 100 dollar a month and quality of the online design software was so so !

All the mobile site builders that I know of cost money. Also not all mobile site builders are not compatible with all smart phones. Doing it from scratch might be a way to go, but you may find yourself getting frustrated.

Again I am not looking for an online mobile site builder, already tested that and was not very easy to work with and paying a monthly fee I don't want anymore.

I am looking for high quality mobile website design software to install on my computer. I know of some out there, but did not come across a really good one with hig quality and easy to work with ! The person that makes such software will become a rich man or woman since mobile is the way to these days!

Hey Chriz... I have recently picked up myMobi admin it may be something close to what you are looking for. It installs on your hosting instead of computer, but otherwise it seems like a pretty usable and effective builder.

You can also build your own in dreamweaver and photo shop also.(Learning curve) there also was a real god one released the other day the name is MSM Tap to call. (Mobile Site Machine )

Duda is good but better to upgrade rather than using the free option of your site will be full of ads from Duda itself

I can't speak to the effectiveness of any mobile site creation software, free or otherwise, as I've had no experience with any; however, if you're selling mobile sites to small business, then I can certainly say that there are people on this forum that can create a mobile version of a standard site for you at a very low price - low enough for you to turn a decent profit when selling to a business owner.

It doesn't cost you anything upfront either; you get a client, they pay you for a mobile site, you outsource from the proceeds keeping a nice chunk of cash for yourself.

This is especially good if you're just starting out, you could then try out other avenues as you go.
