Last year I was watching by as people were making a killing in the mobile game market. Im not talking about the large companies like Rovio, Im talking about the unknowns. I was always interested in games/social games, I could see huge amounts of money being made on Facebook with games, but mobile was different. You see, mobile games come and go, companies release 6-7 games per month, they know the market, people play, complete and delete. Short easy to play levels, people want to be able to complete a quick level whilst waiting for the bus, even on the toilet! March last year I hired myself a developer and a designer, I had my first game built within 6 weeks, I sent it live to the apple store and since that day I have never looked back. Within 2 months I had broke even on my costs, game development can be very costly, but then I was in the profit and just let the game make its money and dwindle out. I wanted to release more games, I wanted to base them on the most popular games on the market, not exactly the same but similar. These games were popular, people loved them, but when they ran out of new levels it always left them wanting more. I decided to employ my own developer, paid on a annual wage, this was the best thing I ever did. Maybe I dropped lucky, I dont know, but now instead of paying $4,000 or more for my games they work out less then $1500. The method I use is simple, I follow the big guys, free game that is ad supported, and a paid for game that people can either buy to remove ads and just buy straight out. I have now started to ad in app purchases to my games, I never really believed that they would make many sales, but I was very wrong. Now games can be hit or miss, some may just make the investment back, others will go on for months and months and make a very tidy profit. So what I am trying to say is, if you are thinking of going into the mobile game market or you are sitting on the fence, then I would 100% recommend giving it a shot. If you are intrigued and dont know where to start out I dont mind answering a few questions, you can hit me up on Skype webstarcpa and I will try and help as best I can. Cheers |

WHY don't you write up and video all the information for a WSO. It must be complete with your development contacts...Make it a reasonable price and many would be interested.

That's the great thing about mobile games. you don't really have to send any traffic to it once it's on the stores.

You can get traffic from social media sites. I see a lot of fan pages of mobile games/ apps on Facebook.
