What would be a good price to charge a client for an app? |

Somewhere between one and a hundred thousand dollars. Obviously it depends on the features. |

Hi, We charge $997 for an app developed for iOS, Android & HTML5 Chrome Web app. All 3 for the above mentioned price and it works. We provide monthly payment plans to the clients as well. Our target prospects are small local businesses. Best, |

It's very difficult to name the fixed price. Actually for business owners it's also not so good. It means that the client can overpay because fixed cost is a disputable way of balancing risks. Experience shows that software owners always tend to change requirements along the way. That has always been and will be. So the changes will also affect the price. The goal to avoid risks connected with fixed cost and its deadlines might negatively affect software products. They are created to be acceptable, instead of being high-quality. Find some tips in the article Why Is Fixed Cost Bad For Software Owners? |

Wow! And here I was getting quotes for between $20,000 and $50,000 for the app I'm building when I should have just got you to build it for me for a grand. May I ask how it is that you are able to build any app for just a grand? This is an amazing deal for a native app produced in three variations! |

How much would you charge to develop a directory app? Would this still be around the $1000 as this would be a bargain or would the costs spiral depending on how much work was needed to develop it? Do you have any examples of apps you have built for that price as of yet? |

Someone has already mentioned this, but it really depends on the features. We currently have 44 features for our mobile apps, and we charge anywhere from $499 to $1,200 depending on which ones they want to implement into the app. Can you be more specific? Are you coding the app yourself? |

According to me it totally depends on complexity and features of the app. If it has more features with higher complexity then it can have higher cost.

What is the app about, and how much you have to put your time and effort making the app? Once you find answer to these questions you'll yourself get to a good conclusion because only you know your client's final limit.
