If you can offer him an SMS platform, then he can do SMS coupon campaigns for maximum prospects. You can also sell him mobile marketing materials that will help him maximize his reach to his target customers. It can be a flyer, a customizable brochure, a sales form, etc. Hope this helps.

I can't see SMS as a platform for a locksmith. SMS is an awesome tool for a recurring type of business such a s a restaurant, bar, tavern, or a business that would rely on repeat customers. I could be wrong but i don't see a locksmith as that type of business. I'm 54 and i've called a locksmith only once in my life. For me, receiving SMS;s from a locksmith would be annoying and I would unsubscribe in a heartbeat. On the an optimized mobile website with the right seo would be most beneficial. -Jeff |

I agree, SMS is not a good fit for a locksmith. Generate leads for him and work out a price per lead.

I agree that SMS is probably not a good sell for a locksmith. I'm assuming most business a locksmith will get is from spontaneous calls/customers who need their service for an emergency call. Since most probably don't know, a locksmith they will Google this and just pick one from the first couple listed. Sell him in a local search optimization and get their newly created mobile website to the top for local search. |

Don't sell him SMS unless you want to lose him as a customer. Be honest with the guy, he's a locksmith, he's not selling lock services to teenagers or 20-30 yr olds. Pitch the good old Google Ranking to him for local search. The only thing he needs for Mobile is maybe a Mobile Website. |
