YeahMobi & AirPush
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hello everyone.
I'm new (2 month) in the moble marketing business so I have some questions for you.

The offers I take is from YeahMobi and the traffic I buy from AirPush.
What do you think about that combination? I make something like 10$-50$ in a day.

I saw many people claming that to buy traffic source is bad, well do I have an alternative?

Spill out everything you want to say

Thanks.

I had never heard of YeahMobi... I've just recently been using the mobile-optimized offers from Peerfly.

Honestly though, when it comes to traffic sources, everyone has their preference. I've used BuzzCity in the past and I'm currently using InMobi. The realization I've come to between both is that targeted mobile traffic is a luxury.

I'm sure some will disagree with me so let me end by saying that I'm no professional at this and am still negative on a number of campaigns. Anyway, my takeaway would be that as a beginner you gravitate towards a network that is cheaper so that you can get more testing done with less money. Yes, the quality of the traffic might be crap, but you'll be receiving 5x as much of it (I'm comparing BuzzCity's $0.01 clicks to InMobi's $0.05 clicks here).

Hope this helps.

How can you use buzzcity and all those sources if you can't even target the publishers/applications/carriers

You can! If I understand you correctly, you're considered that because BuzzCity offers cheap clicks you can't target them?

On the contrary, while I actually prefer InMobi's targeting, BuzzCity offers a few ways to target. First a general category (dating, news, utilities, games, etc), mobile carriers (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc.), country...

Would you like me to elaborate?

Hi guys,
I am quite new as an active marketer and although i intend to promote offers via clickbank etc and cpa (when i can get accepted) i have a few clients who want me to place banner ads on mobile networks. In the past this was fairly easy to do with the likes of Admob and Adfonic etc. However i have been out of the loop for some time and these platforms have changed somewhat.Admob were acquired by Google and seem to have changed their ad mediums and Adfonic no longer take publishers and any advertiser has to part with $1000 to get started and again the format seems to be biased to app advertising which i have yet to get to grips with.I contacted Airpush recently and although they were quick to respond they don't seem to understand straight questions and answer accordingly.I bought into Adam Horwitz's Mobile Monopoly course some time back and he showed how to adapt creatives for banner advertising and using Admob and Adfonic showed how to place an demographically placed banner ad which is all i want to do now.Does anyone have any knowledge of companies that would still do this and are simple to join with cheap deposits ($50-100 doable), with an easy to follow self serve system? Sorry to waffle on but i have a lot of people who want to advertise and i am frustrated as i could be earning by now!!!

Hi all…. My business promotional advertising is done by Wild on Media, Toronto through mobile ads which were really a significant turning point to my business. The Google mobile ads will help in achieving our marketing objectives and branding goals. An interactive, rich media ad on mobile will create an everlasting impact on the people. It’s wise to put the business in front of people through mobile ads as they always carry it with them.

Hey man,

A. Airpush & Yeahmobi is a great combination, but you gotta keep in mind that Airpush limits your options (only Android), plus working with them isn't the easiest thing unless you really know what you're doing.

B. as for buzzcity - you can have a Publisher filtering & IP ranges filtering options with buzzcity, BUT only if you have funded your account with $200 and spending at least $50/day...

Good Luck !

That's good to know but the MAIN reason that avoids me to change my traffic source is the CPC.
I pay 0.01 per click in airpush for android in most of the countries, I saw in other traffic sources the price is some thing like 0.03 - 0.05 that's like x5!
If my campaign is 100% profitable with those traffic sources he will lose! I will need to more then double my converation for the same amount of clicks.

well, that's a matter of confident and strategy... not that Airpush or Buzzcity is not good (not at all, those are great networks which I'm working a lot with ! ), it is just that you need to know how to work with them.... and it is not as easy as it seems (doesn't sums up with just "running the traffic"....).
as for other networks, your assumption is not correct though....
paying $0.05 cpc or even $0.1 cpc, doesn't mean your campaign will be less profitable (sometimes, much more...) your paying that much either because their traffic is more quality or you have more optimization levels (for example, gender, age, city, ip ranges, apps, publishers, special ad formats, and many more....), and, the inventory is sometimes (not always...) larger... meaning if you're at $0.1 epc on buzzcity for example, but only getting X amount of traffic (lets say 100 conversions a day, that's 10$ a day), you might have $0.05 epc on other network, but 500 conversions a day.... meaning $25 a day....
so it's not as "black & white" as it seems

But keep working hard !
