Woman stops Florida cop for speeding: 'The reason I pulled you over today ... '

When a South Florida woman noticed another driver who she thought was speeding, she followed the car and eventually confronted the man behind the wheel.

What makes this traffic stop notable, though, was that she had followed a police officer. That means footage of the encounter shows a citizen chiding an officer for his driving -- not the other way around.

In related news, 500 kilos of cocaine were later found in the same South Florida woman's home.

I once had an off duty cop prevent me from moving over to the right lane.
He sped up after I turned on my signal, and then stayed even with me
until I slowed way, way down and went behind him. He was in uniform,
but in a private car. Wish I had a dash cam.

I recently got myself a Street Guardian SGZC12RC-V2 and hard wired it. The most interesting thing I've captured on it so far is a woman driving without having her lights on, and yes it was at night. Still that seems to happen a lot.

I mainly got it though because it has parking mode where it will record if there's any movement or motion detected. It's got a five second buffer so saves the recording from 5 seconds before the event which is handy. Where I live unfortunately there's one particularly useless female driver (not sexist, just the truth) and I know she's hit my car already but couldn't prove it and she didn't have the decency to admit it, which seems to be the norm nowadays. It wasn't so many years back most people would leave a note if they damaged your car but now it seems most people have more important things to do like not get caught. Fingers crossed she won't do it again, but if she does it should give me proof.

At the college I work for we have cops employed by each campus. Periodically, because they use cars and vans registered to us, we get bills for red light violations and ones for driving through an EZ- Tag lane without one. It is always, without exception, one of the cops who was driving.

He should have ran a background check on the lady & called for a drug sniffing dog. Haul her in to the police station for a 24 hour psych evaluation for her own safety. Maybe some long term court ordered counseling. You can never be too safe.
