Some things are just organic and visceral. They can't always be explained.

There is no need to apologize for anything. You haven't done anything 'wrong.' I simply don't agree with any level with what you believe and want others to believe, simply because you believe it. I have been unable to get you to acknowledge the fact that this is not how life works. I believe you may owe a lot of other people an apology, that might believe the things you say and possibly act on them - but since you can't hurt me with them, I'm fine.

Uh, do you see that I have any 'friends, here? Do you think you'd qualify to be the first? No. No friends. I have a dog. That's all I need.

I believe that respect is earned - not owed. I'm afraid I will never be able to accommodate you on this point. I would be nothing but a liar if I said I had any respect for you, or believed that I ever could. I simply don't agree with the way you carry yourself at any level. It's not a big deal. We don't need each other to survive.

I put you on ignore and you still respond to all my posts, usually to say something very unkind, or insulting. You must know that when people quote you I can see what you wrote.

Look, you can't expect to go through life and have a good relationship with everyone you encounter. Some people are just like oil and water. What does it matter? It's just an Internet forum. We don't have to engage with one another.

I will endeavor to never respond to anything you post, as long as I don't think what you are putting forth might hurt someone who is only getting one side of the story, or a skewed view of the picture. For that, I expect that you will stop getting in a dig, every chance you get. It's immature and only makes me want to retort. This serves neither of us, nor, for that matter, is it anything that anyone wants to see here. But, since this is the ground you wish to fight on, there's not much I can do.

Sure, I guess I could be the 'bigger man,' and simply ignore you. Truth be told, most times I do. But I worry that if I always do so, you will get the impression that I condone your actions and am unwilling to stand up and defend my positions, or challenge yours. It's very hard for a combat veteran who's 100% disabled from a 50 year bout of profound PTSD, to let that happen. It's a psychological impossibility and I think you know that which is why you oftentimes attempt to goad me into less than stellar actions. lol

Let's just avoid one another as much as possible. I'm almost at the end of my Internet journey, so I won't be around that much longer. Let's just try to tolerate one another and give each other a wide berth.

You are most welcome, but the first thing that you must learn that you can't regard every difference of opinion that you have with another humanoid as them being "negative" towards you. It's a victimization mentality and will not serve you well, as you grow into adulthood. :-) Also, please understand that I am not asking for any respect from you, either. However, I do believe that the long and complicated life I have lived, which has included being incarcerated, institutionalized, having served in combat, more than one occurrence of homelessness, as well as numerous business successes and failures, just might allow you to think that possibly, just possibly, I might have a little more insight based on experience than you do at your tender age. Just something to think about when you accuse me of believing I "know everything." I certainly don't know everything, but I know a lot about a lot of things and I simply won't allow you to postulate bullshit, based on no knowledge, whatsoever, that hurts people more than it helps people. I would not be a good person if I allowed that to happen, unchallenged. You don't need to respect me - but you might want to consider, for one fleeting moment, what my actual experiences have been and consider that I post the things I post, however injudicious my technique, with only the utmost of pure intentions.

I don't have a malicious bone in my body, in spite of the indelicacy with which I can come across. I do that on purpose. I do it for effect. It's my version of, "The squeaky wheel gets the grease." It's what I do to get people to pay attention. The emotionally mature members of this forum, plainly get that. I honestly don't think you ever will. I think you actually believe that I derive some sadistic pleasure from trying to seriously hurt others. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I only wrote all of this in public as I truly believe that it is important that those who have any interest in what our ongoing joust is all about, know the truth. I would appreciate it, if from this point on, should you wish to discuss any of this, that you do so via PM.
