And just wondering if other WF members have one and what have you done with it that can help you with your Internet marketing endeavors or just do something cool with it?

Apparently Paypal will give you a free card reader for your tablet so credit cards can be scanned, and Microsoft Word is free for Adroid devices, (obviously you would need a bluetooth keyboard but still),

I'm currently on about 8 tablets a day, getting a bit fed up with them.

You could try a change in diet, but as you have said you have a low sugar intake so it is probably caused by something else, so l high intake of certain vitamins and montering of glucose levels until you see a change that warrent a reduction in those tablets is probably your best way forward.

PS saw this book today done by Dr Peter Brukner, who was 60 on a diet and been diagnosed with pre-diabetes, he set about creating a diet that overturned his diagnoses and helped other reduce or eliminate their diabetes and or what Doctors/Pharma companies prescribe.

Looked into Bluetooth keyboards today and they typically cost double of what the tablet cost me, so not really an option unless l was a writer?

I also looked into backup battery's since the Dongle l carry in my bag only gives me about 4 hours for the tablet, (free WiFi tends to slow down so much by closing time it is unusable, or not good if l was in a trade and needed to close my position).

A pity since the tablet battery lasts for 10 hours on average but the dongle 4. And battery backups for 2 hours are cheap but the 4 hour ones are getting heavy and last 4.

May have to consider Ebay that has cheap ones which are no thrills and bulky but do the job?

Interesting you said that. I have a mini pc attached to my tv and run it from an 18 dollar full sized keyboard (that's slimline with built in trackpad) and works off standard batteries. It works for many weeks on bluetooth until I have to change them. Perhaps look into that

T-Mobile gave out a small Tablet a few years ago. It's great for downloading Kindle books, instead of reading on a phone. At Christmas time, I was given an Amazon Fire HD100 plus by a family member. It also came with a keyboard but, I have not used the keyboard yet.

I have used it only a few times, mostly asking Bard or Chatgpt information to play around with.

I considered the Amazon Fire one, (well the next size up from my one, (7")) but it was just too hard to hold in one hand.

This one is ideal and l can even put it in a zip plastic bag so l can take it outside, (obviously hard to see in daylight but l do have an alert function so it will vibrate and make a tune if it goes off).

Thanks guys yes, l went over to Ebay and found a battery backup for only $14 that should charge up my dongle for 4 hours worth, and this is small and thin and light so seems ideal.

Obviously the Hi Fi store l keep going to has high priced ones only, so need to stay online.

What do you mean, 4 hours? If you get one with an RF USB dongle then you are looking at 18 months battery life. Ok, it means a bigger keyboard in all cases but like I say, mine is very slimline. Mine operates on bluetooth and will last up to a month or more on two small triple A batteries. Sure, you can get smaller keyboards that look cool because they can fit into a tablet case/stand, but those have to be charged constantly and only last a few hours and are heavy. If I were you I would just get a protective case that allows the tablet to stand upright and a battery slimline keyboard that either runs off a dongle that is bluetooth. Tons of either of these on Amazon. Logitech does one using RF, about 26 bucks.

If the two were not giving to me for free, I doubt I would own a tablet at all. I like a laptop because of the bigger screens, and very portable to do actual work on. The T-mobile one sat in the draw for close to a year. Both are charged but collecting dust currently.

18 months! I mean how long the battery stays charged up and not its life span in staying viable as a power source.

But l learned yesterday that it is the walking about with it on that is draining the battery quickly, (it has to keep the Towers signal locked in which uses more power).

And keeping the USB cable in turns it off while walking about, so l tested it yesterday and only turned it on when l had stopped and 4 hours later still at 100% charge.

So the battery issue is resolved and l have looked into those cheap foldup keyboards Mark, but am not really fussed at the moment.

And to ask another question what do you guys use to clean the screen, l tend to use my T-Shirt but that doesn't seem to work that well, and use a small cloth thing that came with my screen protector for my Nintendo Switch, (which works for a while then needs to be washed).

A damp cloth then a dry tissue works the best but hard to use when out, and there is a small risk of damaging the speaker.

So curious to hear on what everyone uses here?

I think you are talking more about the battery life of the tablet itself, not the keyboard. A good tablet should last for up to ten hours. I bought a cheap windows tablet and only lasts for a couple of hours. Also bought a case size keyboard to go with it and that drains it's charge very quickly too. Why the keyboard should be like that escapes me.
