Go Big, Or Go Home...

We're about to go into 2024.

Does anyone have any goals for the new year?

Are you brave enough to declare them on the forum?

We can all hold each other accountable.

Make them big and make them bold.

One of my goals is to take a newsletter I started to 10K a month in revenue by the end of the year. I'm pretty much at zero right now, so, I have a ways to go, and I'm setting that as a goal.

What about you?

Any chance you might make that a 'Warrior Path' thread? Sounds interesting.

Please do not 'release balloons' for celebrations. The balloons and trailing ribbons entangle birds and kill wildlife and livestock that think the balloons are food.

I'm going to do this and stay within the rules as best I know how to.

If I violate anything let me know, please.

Document where you are now and set a plan on how much you need to lose each week, or month, to achieve your goals.

Right now I'm at 240 and I want to get down to 200. So actually 40 lbs I want to lose.

It's funny but I listen to different fitness personalities. One is former SEAL David Goggins. A lot of what he says is insane like running 100 miles with 10 broken bones etc...etc...Don't necessarily agree with a lot of what he says but I do agree with this : to be a champion and be challenged you do not have to be an Olympian or a world class runner or a Navy Seal but you can be a regular person and be a "champion" by getting up each and everyday and challenging yourself and pushing yourself farther and longer than you ever have before. I plan on doing this in the New Year. Iam already waking up at 4:30am 4 days a week to run. Now I just need to strive to be a "champion" at the
            dinner table

Yessir, despite my long hiatus from the forum and my (loss of interest) in the eBay store, I do have a vested interest in establishing some new goals going into the 2024 New Year!

The primary goal is to STOP withholding information pertaining to helping others achieve success online or offline... and, it doesn't matter if the success they seek is mental, physical, spiritual, or financial... the message(s) and writing(s) will be centered upon helping others increase their overall well-being and align them with the existing knowledge, tools, and resources already available to us all.

As Kay mentioned, I too may start a new Warrior Path thread, once I have my tools and software in place here in the New Year!

Similar to your newsletter, my goal is to create and sell a $97 annual membership, with a built-in revenue share to allow people to earn while they learn, so the membership pays for itself.

Certainly not a new concept, I've probably written 500+ sales letters, presells, and a ton of content for this project - primarily outlining what benefits are included... but I haven't started writing the main content included inside the paid members area!

I always set high goals, and lately I've been thinking; "what's stopping me from selling 10,000+ $97 annual memberships in the next 3-5 years?"

But, for now, I too like to think; $10k per month should be achievable in the first *6-12 months, if positioned, packaged, and presented properly!

Plus, I'll be promoting 3rd party tools and resources that I believe hold a ton of value to the right recipients!

      Sounds good. Start the thread.

Something that most don't realize is there can be cross-promotions within the WF on these threads.

Too many people just read the threads and never sign up. There's a whole world of sharing and helping when you sign up.

I'm starting my thread and hoping others jump in and help with the ideas...I'll do the same for anyone else starting something this year.

The irony being... too many times I see people (*and myself) relying on 1 or 2 sources of income... and when it stops (*or slows down) as it has for me since November, I realize; we need to serve MORE PEOPLE!

And, it always leads me back here!

Yes, I do see the potential of people reciprocating, sharing, and being supportive here more so than in the typical work environments offline!

As an old guy, I am now out of the make money online thing and any other motivational pursuits.

In fact, the only new years resolutions I will make is to step up and hone my Procrastinational Skills. Lol.

I read recently that when you have a list of things that need done, it is better to leave them very late just before any deadlines are due and do them all in one go. The motivation to do them is then inspirational. On top of that, sometimes things come along that tell you some things that you need to do are not necessary.

For example, the Social Security dictated that I signed up for Medicare when I was 65. I had a private medical card, lifetime, from the college I worked for. But I waited in line at the local office only to be told I needed an in date passport, mine had expired. So, I gave up. as I would never get one in time for the deadline date, being a UK one. Then I got a letter from the S/S telling me I did not qualify for Medicare or a Government Pension as I had never paid anything into S/S, lol. My college provided both medical and a pension, Teachers Retirement fund, private.

So I urge you to subscribe to and adopt my last minute procrastination plan. Only $15.00 a month. Lol

Be a champion chewer .if it's a food that tastes really really good but you should not eat that much of chew the hell out of it get every bit of flavor. The"healthy stuff" chew your normal amount .

The more you chew the less you end up eating so shovel down some healthy stuff and savor that great tasting unhealthy stuff.

I have been working on food that promote gut health. I think I'm going to end up with one of my meals every day being a sweet potato covered in a real good chili with beans.

All stuff I have been working on the last few 5 years has been to get and keep a girlfriend. My snoring and sleep apnea are the main thing left to the keeping part of that. I don't snore I sound like pool filter sucking air. When the apnea doesn't kick in and stop my breathing.

After that everything with my health and.diet is fine tuning

Sounds like you should use a C-PAP machine for your sleep apnea.

I don't know a whole lot about them...but I do know someone who uses one. From what I understand they can be prescribed to you by your doctor and are usually covered under your health insurance.

As I'm sure you know, sleep apnea can cause a lot of health problems and is something important to follow up on. I believe it rarely if ever goes away on its own over time.

Thank you for the thread I have been thinking about everything I want to do in the next year. And everything condensed down to setting down and making las Vegas my home. Up to this point every place I have lived has never felt like home or been home.

        The fun starts.

I've seen you mention this before - may I offer a feminine perspective on the problem?

Used as above, a 'girlfriend' is more a 'thing' than a person. If you want to attract a companion who will be part of your life, there are a few simple things you can to increase your chances of attracting someone who fits well with you...

Be kind, smile often, be self-aware but not self-absorbed, live in TODAY every day. Be calm, hold your temper, be clean and presentable because you never know when your partner might appear. Be open and be honest.

Be optimistic, enjoy every day to the fullest and fill your time with activities you enjoy and things you want to learn. Don't expect more of a potential girlfriend than you expect of yourself.

If you are happy with yourself and comfortable with who you are in life - you will attract others to you. It really is that simple ....but it's not always easy as I'm sure you know.

You are wise to focus on improving yourself - but think carefully about what you need to improve and what is just fine the way it is.

Here is my Woo-Woo goal which I will document as I go.

The goal: WIN 100k in the lottery (total after expenses).

I will spend up to 10 dollars a day when I play (not every day) so it peaks out at a 3660 dollar spend cap. I will use a small crystal ball, no more than 20 mins a day to pick my numbers.

So most money invested 3,675 dollars for tickets, ball and candles. Time= 122
total hours 2.5 hrs per week, staring into a glass ball.

Will invest all winnings back into the game, and when or if this happens, it will be noted.

    GordonJ

P.S. Bold or nuts? We'll see.

Yeah I have been watching and reading self help videos and books the last couple of hours today and last night. I have gone all out in immersing myself in this stuff... Bob Procter, Tony Robbins, Jeff Bezos, neuroscientists like Andrew Hueberman etc..etc...And I feel like iam gaining a firm grip on self control and self mastery.

I almost feel like when you spend so many hours studying and investing time in this stuff your success almost becomes a self - fulfilling prophecy rather than finding success through the actual principles themselves. What do I mean by this ? Well , I feel like at this juncture I will stop food binging at night because I have tirelessly watched so much Anthony Robbins material that it would be a HUGE "let down" if I started the binging again.

      Does that make sense?

The woman in my life up to this point say about the same thing you just did and clue me in on what I need to work on. At least I'm at the point the last thing I need to do something about is the snoring. Haha.

I'm 45 as I put my life together the way I want I can attract a woman who wants about the same stuff and has her stuff together. When I was a mess the woman I was involved in where just as much a mess.

I couldn't expect better without doing the work to be better myself. Now I still have plenty of room for a woman to step in and add her touch to make life function better.

I don't know how to exactly explain that .

So, key to goal setting is that when you have large goals and are starting from 0, the best approach is to form an outline of some sort, so that you can set some medium term, and most importantly short term goals. Having big goal is great, but not having anything in the middle makes it super hard to achieve, without the much needed prior planning, which more times than not prevents pisspoor performance. Think of it like football, you are on your own 0 yard line and need to go 100 yards to reach the goal. You don't try to make 100 yards on one play.

Now, a ways into 2024...with the groundwork done by max5ty, I'll be launching my newsletter this summer, Lucky J's Lottery HOTSHEET. A weekly newsletter to cover the Ohio lottery games (to start).

Instead of making mine big and bold, I have decided to go small, because I'm old and lazy and don't want to exert myself.

After max5ty got us pumped and excited about this new year, and based on a lot of the research he shared with us in the PATH section, I have decided to launch my own newsletter but with much smaller goals. I aim to have 1,000 subscribers at a rate of $3.50 per month for the Sunday evening weekly HOTSHEET updates to the Ohio lottery.

I'll test it through the Summer, and if it works in Ohio, no reason I can't expand to NY, PA, MA, etc., etc. and have "affiliates" for each state, province or territory.

So low cost, low subscriber numbers, going small and staying home. Just thought I'd give a shoutout thanks to max5ty for his idea and this op, and looking forward to the fun and entertainment the lottery provides.

I don't like having strict concrete goals or rules in my life, I love myself some wiggle room to be safe in.
One principle in my life is that I only compare myself with my past self, no other ones.
So to set myself a goal is to keep going becoming better and better through the hundred's of mini-challanges I will face this year, they are insignificant, but they are my challanges

So low cost, low subscriber numbers, going small and staying home. Just thought I'd give a shoutout thanks to max5ty for his idea and this op, and looking forward to the fun and entertainment the lottery provides.

Sounds like you've got a good plan. I have no doubt you'll be successful.

The growing trend now is short and sweet newsletters. They're getting smaller and smaller in content. I'm posting the link below.

Also, if your newsletter gets going good you can sell it. Link below.

And, there are sites that let you get sponsors if you ever decide to.

      Good luck with your project.

P.S. The 'who sponsors stuff' site is loaded with good articles.

        Thanks some more.

I thought about a PATH post, but not sure I want to share it all with the WF. The goal is a SELL OFF. Two years approx. Allow me to share the 'path' here, and thanks for those links, great stuff.

How do I get subscribers? My plan, via a special report I'll have at Gumroad, probably 19.99 discounted to 2 dollars for Group leaders (Facebook, etc.) who can keep the two bux. One Ohio FB group has 18 thousand members, I need 1000, at 3.50 a month.

The report (proprietary, written in 2014, now being updated) will have the sales offer for the newsletter, and I'll cap it at 1k subs. First come, first in, starting 12AM first of the month. Only 1k.

Templates are being developed, so once OH has tested, I go on to NY, PA, MA, IL, etc. with over 50 other targets, states, provinces, territories. Each will have an editor, which will be more or less an affiliate, and they can have 2 to 4 Newsletters, all branded, but each with unique to that area information. We send out every Sun. eve. Chart updates, mailbag from subscribers, maybe a classified ad section, sponsors...but short and sweet, maybe not Atomic, but certainly Nuclear. HA!

So I have a Specialty Report 19.99 for sale at Gumroad. Within that report is the offer for the subscription, with gifts, incentives, etc. Facebook or other group admins can offer it to their group and keep all the money for the report, and with a limited number of 1k per month, it should be easy to test the demand every first of the month.

A branded weekly newsletter going to only 1000 subscribers at 3.50 per month.

Affiliate or associates who manage/edit their state version and send them out. IF we hit our targets, the expansion will go to SPORTS BETTING, you know what has happened in OHIO just this year, and it is only getting started. Now that probably will be a break off separate newsletter, but roughly based on the Math/Magic in the report. Again, every Sun evening to a limited number of subscribers.

That is big picture path, low cost, quick and simple newsletters sent to a limited number of people and testing and expansion...and if it goes/grows, I have some other ideas for add on merch. But I wouldn't be doing this if not for your OP here and your Newsletter Path thread, which reignited my passion for Newsletters.

I came online because of a Newsletter, the NPGS UPDATE HOTLINE by Suarez Corporation Industries, where I was the featured writer and editor and crossed paths with a guy, Marlon Sanders, who showed me the light.

So seems fitting to end my online adventures the same way.

News. Every day, NEW lottery numbers to report on...just hope the Ohio Lottery doesn't disappear soon, cause that would be really poor timing, eh?

I was intending on starting a Path post but then this year happened...

I've been investing in apartments and land and it's been a seemingly 24 hour a day task.

    But anyway...

Myself, if I were to guess what would work...

'tip sheets' at all the local carryout stores. There are tons of them when you decide to expand.

The owner gets so much for every sale.

They're by the counter and cost maybe $3.95? Any lottery buyer would probably buy one if they looked enticing.

Build your list off of these.

You're the 'tip sheet' expert. Don't forget how good they work.

    Don't over complicate the process.

The tip sheet will be an impulse buy and virtually everyone that buys it will go to your site to discover more...or, wait for the next tip sheet to come out.

    Just an idea

Used to rack job for these guys:

Very familiar with the idea, some of it is what I am basing it on, Lucky J's HOTSHEET.

3 wise men was the best seller, the site may also shed some light into my merch which may be added. Thanks for the keep it simple message again, it is my intent.

I already know you know more about what you're planning than most...and I'm sure your ideas are well past mine.

I always thought your tip sheet thing was a gold mine...I never tried it, but I did do the booklet thing that I posted about some years ago where I did pretty good.

The booklet I did (as I stated in the post) was about the pick 3 lottery in Ohio.

At the time there wasn't an online database where someone could go back and look at all the past statistics like I had in the booklet...

also I had 2 tips on how to pool the numbers.

        It worked pretty good then...

I had a lot of fun doing it.

It was a small claim (but early one) on the American River. A historical reference to non US folk, to the gold rush of 1849.

But and this is just for historical purposes too...but I want to give credit where I owe it, first to Joe Karbo who showed me the concept of a HOTSHEET back in the 1970's out in CA.

Then to Paulette Ensign, the TIPS Sheet Queen. She can be found at tipsproducts dot com. And then to Jimmy Krug, who created a brochure for a credit union and made thousands of dollars recycling it to other banks and credit unions by changing a slug (logo).

The difference is; a HOTSHEET expires, whereas a TIPS sheet may be useful forever, or have a long shelve life...and the simple one page brochure or information guide is alive and well...then all the POD stuff came about.

Karbo gave me the keys to HOTSHEETS because at that time he was too busy getting rich, he didn't have the time to make a little bit cash on the side (1k a week), whereas, I, as a college kid...had plenty of time to pan for those itty bitty chunks of gold.

Anyone reading this has a fast, easy, money making "PAPER AND INK" information product waiting to be extracted from their heads...but one does have to take the pan to the river and get a little wet.

Today, paper and ink, well, no need for either, eh, but still a large perpetual DEMAND for information, news, tips, and how to.

Just wanted to show I built off of what those that came before did, and so can anyone reading this.

Consistent was referring to something else.

Thank you, looks like 4 years of learning about stock market trading is about to pay off.

  • Thing is, what evahgreen tips don't nowan know anyways?

Sumtimes you jus' gotta dress stuff up appropriate.

Which likely means sum evahgreen stuff lyin' fallow for a while -- an' emergin' in its nouveau time like the nouveau stuff gowin' on now seems kinda to have erupted outta sumplace refreshingly familiar.

The greatest illusion evah is YOU CAN BUY TIME.

Look in on the next ad you see an' ask yusself if'n this is the essential promise beyond the battery-usage-to-genitals-excitation axis.

      Yes. You're right.

Luckily for me, the lotteries produce enough OVERNIGHT success, from a simple 100K to 1B...and just enough flashes, that it keeps the mob blinded by the light of fast money in the night. Just enough people wake up to EUREKA, I'm a winner, that it fuels the flame of the possibility of time travel, getting to a better future without the effort most know it really takes to get there.

So, lottery players, buy into the premise of transformation in the flash, and who am I to tell them the reality of the worlds> tried that here at WF...but, alas, most would rather stand in line and pay money for the shortcuts, than to work alone and allow the cumulative effort build into something evergreen.

Having been here, done this, it does feel like the old has become new...and that may have to do with the parade of life aging too.

Although TIPS may be, or can be evergreen, NEWS, ala HOTSHEETS exploits the latest information and tips go to AI for everyone to access.

Anywhoo, thanks for the ideas. I'm going to once again go around Tallmadge Circle, one of America's busiest roundabouts, because last time I was looking out the left window, this time, it will be the right one.
