I don't know if anyone here still remembers me, I'm Rick Rodd, a former moderator way back 2014. To the people who knew me, I hope you're still in this forum or not yet turned to dust.

Give me a sound off and update me how the Forum is going on right now

    A lot of changes since 2014. Probably too many to list here.

    A number of off topic members have been around a minute. So iam sure some can remember you. Again , glad to have you back

    I don't remember you, did you use an alias name as a Moderator? Freelancer made too many changes and chased a lot of decent posters off the forum. There are some good discussions here but not as many as in the past. The few veteran posters that are still here keep the place alive. The majority of newbies joining recently don't bother to stick around or contribute in any way.

      Nah, no longer have access to it since I'm no longer with the company. Had many good and bad memories here, learned a lot and expanded connections. I do remember you Frank.

      Those were the times we had friendly talks with the likes of ClaudeWhitacre, et. al.
      There was also that thing with AlexaSmith.

        First off Welcome back since I did not mention it in the first post. Alexa was at least helpful, sadly she was banned permanently.

            I started to have mixed feelings about Alexa once some of the gossip started going around. Still not sure what is true. But I don't think she/he ever did anything to promote, break the rules, or lead anyone astray with bad advice.

            The time you were here Rick was a tough time for the forum. I think many of us thought of quitting because of the heavy handed way the admins ruined what was once a great forum. Kay's explanation above is spot on. It still has not recovered and never will because apparently corporate has given up on it.

              well that was the past. Looking for a refresher on the Present. Are War Rooms thriving? I'd like to catch up with the enduring personalities here both old and new. Though I'm no longer a mod, there is still a sense of community in me left.

                No! One of the Admins after you left made major changes to the War Room; the information that was originally in there was archived. Now the majority of the posts there were made by Warrior.com. Years back I highly recommend paying the extra money to join the war room. Nowadays I would not recommend anyone paying for a membership.

    Claude is still around. You were mod at a rather tough time - right after Freelancer bought the forum and ditched the member/mods who had been volunteering for years. I always thought it probably made it a bit harder on the mods FL brought in. I remember you because unlike several other 'new mods' back then - you participated in discussion threads on the forum .

    The WF is smaller than it was then - but still plugging along. Welcome back.t

      yes, I was weird that way. I mean, this is a community, and that was my idea of being a Moderator. I just flew too close to the sun and got into trouble with the head honcho that's why I quit.

      Still looking forward interacting with both old and new members and improve my SEO skills.

    You were not alone - literally dozens of experienced marketers who were contributing members here were banned when they disagreed with changes being made. Many of the mods hired then had no tolerance for questions or complaints. The mods weren't 'bad' but they had no understanding of the forum or the history and little knowledge of the members. Admin now is Enzo - and he's very responsive and knows what he's doing.
