Best webcam to record video?

Hi!

I'm looking for a webcam with great definition to use as a video recorder to create short training video.

I know that video digital camcorder are great but I would rather have something that I can fix on my laptop as I'll certain be alone when creating the videos.

There are some many model on the market I'm not sure what to choose?

Better to get a real camcorder & tripod. "Webcam" and "great definition" are largely mutually exclusive.
