you have done a good job. The employers must understand that if they want serious workers they must pay not exploit people by giving them a miserable salary and hope to get the most out of them.

1. That wouldn't be a waste of energy and it will prevent someone else getting ripped off. The agency would be very pleased to know, they won't be getting paid now you've walked out.

People in England complain young people do not work hard. This is not always the case. Employers exploit young people.

Wrong, people complain that too many people do no work and claim government money whilst some of us work very hard and pay for some people to do nothing all day.

Not all people complain young people don't work and not all English employers exploit young people.

That's a blanket statement based on your opinion in one job. Exploitation at work happens the world over and in some countries there are no limits on how old you need to be to work and those people often are exploited.

Good luck in IM but don't assume that just because one employer was an idiot that they all will be.

That's simply not true. To prove it I'll happily guide you in the right direction.

They wouldn't be paid ANYWAY! The contract was at an end!

Thanks for your support guys. I am going in to adsense to begin with. I created a blog as you can see on my sig. I am going to use it to apply to the adsense program. i got enough money for hosting and domain names. i am hoping to start 10 mini websites to begin with and see how that goes. If it works ill scale it until i make enough work from home. i seen this being done successfully.I just hope Google accepts me

I agree with a few other ppl. (a) Get a job first, so you can pay your bills. (b) Then figure out how to make extra income in your spare time, until your new income > job income, and then you can focus on your own income full time.

A agency contracted me to him for 6 months. During this time the agency paid me. It was a government agency. The employer said he wants to employ me and the time at the agency came to an end i went to his place.

You don't have a country of residence listed - but I can't imagine accepting a job without knowing what the pay scale would be and when I would be paid. That is information basic to a decision to accept employment. I think the agency should be informed about the employer as he seems to be taking advantage of a government program.

If you apply to adsense and are accepted, make certain you read the terms of service and the conditions that apply. Don't assume you will be paid or assume what actions are allowed - details are important.

So what DID you do for him? I mean making tea isn't worth much, etc...

But you really have to talk about wages up front. Some people are just VERY nice, and will pay a lot for little work. Some people pay NOTHING for a LOT! I had a customer actually go bankrupt, and their receiver sued me retroactively. They LITERALLY changed my mildly profitable relationship into SLAVERY! My social life was killed, I worked overtime, and for WHAT? I actually PAID for the "privilege"! I was a SLAVE for months and didn't know it! At least YOU had some idea of where you stood!

BTW I was in my late 30s!

Update. the boss has since called me back and offered me a new contract(more than minimum wage with a proper job description).he is also paying me for the time i worked after leaving the agency. he said he has trained me for 6 months and does not want some one else to bear the fruit of his training and also to prove to me the things i said where not true. (i sent him a heated email expressing my opinion)

Some things were just a misunderstanding. but do i regret making a scene and quitting? nope! if you feel you have been wronged, stand your ground until they meet your demands.

Good luck with your new venture! & as far as your last position, I understand completely how you feel. The same thing happens in the US especially with the economy the way it is. It's bad enough that good hard workers get taken advantage of left & right, but it's even worse when people aren't willing to pay for their employees work. Another thing I hate is that employers always say that their looking for someone who can provide "good quality work", but don't realize that good quality may take a little longer & end up in a huff because somethings aren't immediately done... it's very irritating. Anyhoo- good luck with the internet marketing! & be careful with all that money. Do your research before spending!!
