I think I am permanently out of "Thanks"

I know that there is a daily limit of "Thanks" but I think I am out of them completely

Is there a ratio "Thanks given" to "Thanks Received" in place that determines when I can "Thank" again?

I think it's X number of thanks in a 24 hour period rather than daily, so when you run out it could span parts of two days.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

I can't quite remember why, now, but Bill Platt ("tpw") has started up a harmonica choir for those of us who regularly run out of "thanks" before the end of the day. I'm a regular participant. There are references to it in many threads: just do a search for the word "harmonica" and you'll see immediately what I mean.

They rehearse somewhere in Oklahoma ... you and I can perhaps drop in on our way to visit Thaddaeus in Stumpwoody Holler (wherever that is) ...

That's a great idea Alexa. I had better bring old Thad some Marula. It's a heck of a lot better than that Moonshine he wants us to drink

It looks like I will be joining those Harmonica sessions quite frequently myself.
