I can't believe this story.
Talk about poor parenting.

So she is "just being herself"? ****WOW****! WHY does she want to be like that? within a few years, she will be practically unable to even WALK! People will LAUGH at her EVERYWHERE she goes. Does she also get special seats so she can pose like that on the seat? She obviously believes that pose makes her look sexy.

I DEFY her to prove that that is "just herself". A bird will NOT spread its wings when there is not enough space to move.

I really don't see it as racy, I mean I get that it is supposed to be a yearbook photo.
I was kind of expecting a thong or sheer or something ridiculous.

I actually saw the headlines for this story the other day, might have been yesterday...but I didn't go look at the story...must be getting old...

Some of the girls in my Jr High and High School had halters on and looked at the camera like..well you know. Back in the 70's.

Do you find it that "racy", Kim?

I think it was the stupid pose! It just doesn't seem right. I bet if she changed JUST THAT, they would take the more sedate picture, and maybe the OTHER as well!

      Jim,
I feel a picture like that is inappropriate for a yearbook.
And yes, back in the 70s girls wore halter tops and skin tight pants ,but they didn't for the yearbook.
But when they are threatening to sue over it I think thats going too far. More frivolous lawsuits to clog our system up and to give mother and daughter their 15 minutes of fame.
      Rediculous.

      The second one was ok.

Yea, the pose was a little over the top when I look at it again.

Glamor shots are not uncommon these days, in fact haven't been for quite some time. Which is what I thought it looked like at first.

I think the girls on the yearbook board might just be a bit jealous of her.

meh, seen worse. I remember seeing this one girl get rejected to go to prom because of her dress and seriously, I would have rejected her if I was her principal lol. Being beautiful is one thing but when you're pushing the whorish look alot, dont expect everyone to agree with you.

Yeah, I would have rejected that ALSO! GIVE ME A BREAK! And, for once, they can't scream sexism about such a thing because if she were MALE and covered the SAME areas, I would have rejected HIM also! It is simply inappropriate. In a way, it hurts the school and all other students attending.

If a last minute cancellation is allowed, she should get a refund. Otherwise, SORRY! NO GO! If others couldn't do it, SHE shouldn't be allowed to either. Besides, they have to plan for this and pay for it. To tell them THEY must pay, but must give her a refund is just not reasonable.
