Ronnie Montrose, the founder of the hard rock band Montrose, died at age 64. This is probably my favorite Montrose song...

  • One of the Great Rockers...RIP Ronnie -

Ronnie got his first break when he was hired to play guitar on Van Morrison's 1971 album, "Tupelo Honey."He also played with Edgar Winter Group, playing on the hits "Frankenstein" and "Free Ride" - In addition to his band Montrose

Wow. Another one. I loved the Edgar Winter group. Sorry to lose another artist.

    RIP Ronny.

    RIP Ronnie Montrose.

Another star falls from the sky.

(see how they go out in clusters as always - Davy Jones while not really a musician of Ronnie's caliber was still a star)

Who will be next in this config?
Is this part of the Whitney exit group?
