      The outcome of the trial could have huge ramifications, as if Oracle wins, Google could be forced to pay it compensation for every Android handset on the market and it could also affect future software development in general.

    Google has a problem. Facebook has significantly more granular data about you than Google. That means they can present you with ads that more closely match your personal interests and needs.

    That's why Google is pushing Google+ so hard. It Facebook gets too far ahead in this area they will tower over Google like an NBA starter standing next to a Hot Wheels car.

    What's so unusual about Google getting "too big for it's boots"? Every entity with money and power these days is getting too big for their boots. It's not just google. It's every corporation and about every government.

    Nothing to see here, folks, just keep moving along please.

      When I first started with a used IBM 286 Desktop and dialup was the only way to log on to the net the big thing was IRC to chat and forums to post on.

      Google was nonexistant. Then everyone was using Yahoo. And Yahoo became very big but then through some bad business decisions etc. they
      are not as big and bad as they used to be. The same can happen to Google and Google could even end up like Pontiac or Enron or Bear Sterns.

      Personally I don't use Google and just don't give a rat's ass about Google.
