Sent to me by an associate via email - i just had to share them but what a pain in the neck to get images from an email to post online - even with the URLs I couldn't post them here as 'copy image URL'...
oh well the album always works. i hate going to my host or uploading stuff to cpanel just so i can use the image in the forum... so the warrior album is way.

That's a normal MI winter as they were when I was growing up, Pat. We froze our butts off in the winter - but also were rewarded with days off of school because the buses couldn't get through. The snow was beautiful before it got tread on by anything but a few animals leaving their tiny tracks here and there. From pics and news friends and family are sending around now, this could have been taken this winter.

We're getting dumped on here in Central OR right now, too - the most snow I've seen in this area ever........and we still have a day to go according to predictions. (Gratitude for my jeep).

Yeah! I was kind of celebrating that California has RAIN! I love love love RAIN! but especially because we are in a drought "worst in history" (they always are, lol).

It feels soooo awesome - until it starts flooding somewhere and then I have to stop being happy and feel guilty. Rain on! Thank God for Rain!

We have late Summer - Aug/Sep/Oct - but this is ridiculous this year - after 'Summer', 'Spring' started again Nov/Dec/Jan - the only time you could tell it wasn't was at night it was cold - but sunny and warm all day. Average mid 60's.

Sooooo along comes February and we FINALLY have FALL and I guess Winter! When I got the email with the Snowy Michigan it is just so beautiful and somehow I put it all together! Let's CELEBRATE the good part of WINTER - THE ART! (I know many are suffering back there as it has been freakish severe, and I am sorry for that).

Stay safe and warm peeples! Enjoy!

p.s. this one looks like one of those cute dogs with the hair in their eyes - ragamuffins!

Don't let the news make too much of the snow back there, Pat - people there are used to it and take it in stride.

Right now I am snowed in and waiting for the snow plow to come through. Even with a jeep with some clearance and 4WD it got too deep to get out. Talked to a neighbor who was shoveling his drive while I was outside on a smoke break and he said this is the most that's dumped at one time in about 12 years -- and it's still snowing.

The optimistic side? Reduced forest fires this summer........good erosion for finding some awesome freshly uncovered agates and crystals this spring.

And besides -- I have cocoa.
