Call Tracking? Using it?

How many of you are using 'call tracking'?

I have a few customers that I set up thru Google Voice. That number is displayed , called , then forwarded to the business number. The caller has NO idea of what just happened.

Only problem with doing that is , the number is different then the original business listing, causing a little more work for citations. Only good thing is that it is FREE>

But, with alot of YP listings, many businesses DO NOT have any way of measuring what calls are coming in. They did not include a measured phone number in the YP ad.

so, how many businesses even ask about measuring the phone calls? I am not even going to bring it up to my clients anymore. I can get them measureable results by showing them how their site always ranks top 3 ,and with coupons that are only displayed on certain pages that I am promoting. These coupons are only visible by my email campaigns, facebook , and video marketing.

what are your thoughts?

I use a service called Kall8 because I prefer simplicity.

$5 for different lines = all the information you need.

  I also use a service called phone.com, similar to most of the others. I often create exact match keyword domains to supplement the main website. Each one is assigned a number, and then its forwarded to the clients primary number.
  
  This does two things:
  
  Allows me to substantiate the number of interested parties.
  
  Keeps the client honest on his ROI, when I present to him the volume of calls my company has generated

  I use tossabledigits.com. You can have local numbers in any target area as well as use them for tracking campaigns. Have them all forwarded to my business offices. When my campaigns are completed, they just get deleted.
