Photos in Google Maps/Places

Did some searching in Google places/Maps and found one listing that had 29, yes, twenty-nine photos? How could that be? Google says you can add up to 10 photos but 29?

How did they get around it?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, thank you, Eva

    This is Google pulling images from other sites and yes you are correct you can only add 10 yourself.

    Well, looked into it a little deeper. Here's the breakdown:

    11 - owner
    5 - hotels.com
    2 - hotelguide.com
    1 - yahoo.com
    2 - Panoramio
    4 - from a Google user
    4 - hotelclub.com

    Yes, this is a listing for a hotel. Also checked Google's guidelines and they did say you can upload your own 10 photos. Google may also post other photos from the web and apparantely did. Still, the owner has 11, not 10.
    Now, my question is, how do the other sources (besides google users) get their photos? Is that something you can manipulate, lol? Has anyone seen more than 29 photos?

      Hi, a client of mine has 58 images on their Google PLaces listing.
      The majority are form booking.com and the like. Fortunately their own images come up first.
