Local directory site question

I am looking into setting up a business directory in my town mostly for tourists although locals would use it also. it would have some special deals on it and would be mostly mobile. Here is my q: Lets say I have a pizza place on board and someone gets to the site via a QR code - the offer is a 2 for 1 pizza that they get by showing a mobile coupon. Is there a way to make sure it only gets used once? Otherwise the locals could be going to the site 3 times a week and getting the deal.

This topic is already being discussed ...

The question about the QR code has also been discussed, but I don't have the link to that thread off the top of my head. Just do a search in the search field above for it.

I am familiar with directory press theme. My issue really is how to make something redeemable only once. I know with SMS marketing once people opt in they can't opt in again to get a special. If I do a mobile enabled directory and my clients want to put some special deals on it I would like the special deal to not be abused. Hope that is clearer - I seem to be having trouble explaining this one.

Most mobile marketing platforms have that feature built in. I use Trumpia, even though I havent run a coupon campaign yet (only voting) it seems to have the functionality you need.
