Help Getting SEM clients

Anyone know of a good method / strategy to pick up local businesses that need SEM management?

    The absolute best way to get clients is through direct marketing "offline". Direct mail and space ads being the best. I've also found lead gen to be the most effective, run small display ads in trade publications offering free report, the report being your sales letter in disguise.

    Study Dan Kennedy and Gary Halbert if you want to learn how to generate all the leads you can handle.

      Interesting... who would have thought one aspect of marketing is better than a fully functional marketing plan?

      Really.. what it comes down to though, is being in front of your market. That's all you have to do, doesn't matter how you do it.

    I don't know if this is the case for other cities, but where I am, most people looking for SEO/web design help seem to be more interested in hiring someone full time rather than paying a company to do the work. :/

    There are a lot of strategies to land clients, but you can use Facebook ads because they are very targeted. Another strategy would be to send the Business owner a personal FB video telling them about your services. It will be different, it will be a personal message and it will get you past the Gate keeper unless they have someone monitoring their personal FB profile.
