Reselling a website & monthly fee

Hi Guys,

I was contacted today by a client who asked me to cancel his website (it's a high quality, bespoke wordpress website & custom backend) due to a friend of his 'who knows seo' telling him to go with a theme. He's basically downgraded he's website and I've lost my monthly fee. I've exhausted all routes to keep him so my aim now is to resell the website.

Im in the UK and he's a butcher/farm food store - how would you go about reselling this? Obviously it will have very little costs to me as I only need to edit the logo etc

      Look for other businesses in a similar market. Then send them a link to the site. Find some things wrong with their site...whether its ugly, WC3 ranks low, etc. Then, tell them the site is a mockup of what you suggest for them. Then, tell them it is usually "A PRICE HIGHER THAN YOU WANT TO SELL", but you are willing to sell it to them for "A PRICE THAT YOU WANT TO SELL".

    Do a Google search for butcher/farm food store in your area and check out some of the listings on 2nd and 3rd pages. Lots of these may be outdated so you can contact them there.

    Also, look in places like yellowpages and superpages, or something similar in the UK. A lot of these business have listings and no website.
