Focus

So many ideas, so little time...
How do you guys "focus" on something? I feel like I should be doing them all!

It's not a bad thing - I can't complain right now, my life is good...and with all the ideas I have, it's gonna get better

I find it hard to focus and not get lost in all of these ideas...money making ideas... Lol

    I'm sure we all have the same problem.

    Pick one you'd like to talk about all day long (for awhile, anyway). The one you feel most confident in.

    Then start taking action. Your day will fill up with things you need to do to put this one idea into action. You simply won't have time for anything else.

    I have a dozen things I'd LOVE to be doing to help grow my business--but I don't have time to implement. Outsourcing is possible for some, and I will do that where I can. But some things simply can't be outsourced. They just have to wait.

    The feeling of swimming against the current and not knowing what to do from the thousands of options comes from not having Made A Decision.

    Make it. Live with it for awhile. At least 3 months. Don't hop to the next gilded lilly pad just because it sounds good. Example: could I do PPC? You bet. I even have a site, blog, contributors and traffic in a niche completely unrelated to sales training. But it's not in the interests of my core business idea...so it gets shunted aside until I have time. Or I'll get someone to work on it at no cost to me, and split what I make with them. What I will NOT do is waste a lot of time on this idea. See how this works?

    See I think a light went on. I am presently dealing with a lot of hotels in my area...and I had this idea for a marketing initiative with hotels & restaurants. My mind is saying "You got your way IN"... I'm "friends" with many GMs and they now "trust me" - I could easily get it done.

    Thank you for your post - glad to hear I'm not the only one having this problem!... Well it's not really a problem - I LOVE THIS!!

    what one(s) do you A) enjoy working with the most even if you outsource it B) has the most long term profit potential c) has the best target market that you know you can connect with

    I used to have this problem as well. I would work on so many things at the same time that I'd be distracted and end up not focusing on one thing. I then change the approach slightly. I would create a list of things I want to do in SERIAL format and work on them one by one. Cant say that it works all the time, but at least it allows me to have one goal to focus on
