Offer PPC Management For Clients? Make Sure You Do This
One of my favorite services that I offer for clients is PPC management. It's great in the sense that most of the work is done in the first month setting up the campaigns and then after that it's just a matter of looking at the stats, finding the winning ads and keywords and tweaking from there. All for a nice recurring income.
What I find surprising is the number of marketing companies that say they offer PPC management services but don't have anyone on staff that has passed the PPC certification tests for Google and Microsoft.
There are at least 6 marketing companies in my area that all offer PPC management services, yet none of them are listed on the Google AdWords or Microsoft AdCenter partner pages. In fact, my company is the only one listed on the Microsoft AdCenter partner page for my entire state.
Just being listed on those partner pages gets me at least one new PPC client each month. I get calls every month from businesses all across the state looking for help with their PPC campaigns just from being listed as a certified PPC company.
So, if you offer PPC management services, make sure that you take the certification tests for both Google and Microsoft. They're not very expensive and if you search around you can sometimes find discount codes to get the tests for free.
It's an easy way to get potential clients calling you.
