How did u come up with a name+domain for your Agency?

I offer integral Digital Marketing services... Social Media, Hosting, Domains, SMS and mobile marketing.

I tried to get a simple, short and brandable name. Picked up a fruit, to be honest i believe it sounds good.

However, the basic "fruit.com" domain is obviously taken in .com and my country TLDs. FruitSocial/Mobile/marketing, etc are also taken.

So how did you come up with a creative name unused on your area and also managed to get a domain that wasnt squatted in all the variations and areas of your company.

Most of us offer digital marketing services, the least that can be expected from us is having a website for our business operation.

I made up a word, then added some more words to it just to be sure it was unique.

Awio Web Services LLC at awio.com.

Rarely do customers see it except on billing invoices.

I wouldn't try to name yourself after a fruit. You're unlikely to be the first person to think of that, and trademark holders have to enforce their marks against others to keep them, which means they're going to come after you. A simple UDRP filing and they'll take your domain, then they'll take you to court for unjust enrichment due to using their brand to your advantage.

At the very least, start doing national and state/regional trademark searches for the names you're considering.

Here in my country u have to register your brand for every industry you want to be protected in. There can be an "Apple computers" and one "Apple AutoMotors", if the first apple never registered their breand for the automotors industry and they still dont have the famous brand level they are screwed.

I will take into consideration your tip and check if there are any conflicting brands around my nation.

Do you know how a DMCA against a Domain, would work if i have my trademark registered in my country and a third-party has the same brand registered in a different country? If we only operate inside our respective countries

While adding a dash or using the underscore symbols grants you access to much more domains, I don't believe in them. I don't think it's brandable if it has a dash or a underscore.

Hi, Domain related to your niche can be really effective to earn required exposure online among people looking for the same services and may help you to create your services as a brand.

Used the name of the neighborhood I work in, plus an "industry" word. Gives local businesses a connection with me, since they connect with the neighborhood.

I had the same challenge and was fortunate to get to great advice from some fellow warriors.

I decided to go with a broader media ending for my biz name and after extensive searching finally ended with "name" New Media, it doesn't limit me in my future endeavours despite the fact that I am starting with mobile web design.

And as I was reminded a number of times last week...don't get to caught up in the name...could keep you from moving forward.
