Where's the "thanks"?

OFFLINE MARKETING

Anyone else notice the "thanks" buttons are gone? The forum has been down a few times tonight, so I wonder if that's a side effect?

I've noticed mine disappears from time to time and I simply have to clear cookies or cache or whatever, then it reappears!

It's always there - at least for me.

Not on my own posts though - which obviously should be a logical thing to do (not to thank your own post).

I kid you not, I was not looking to get thanked. I was on a few other posts and commented and wanted to thank others and there is NO button...just took a pic to show I have no button (that I can't get to show up here on the "link image" button). Also, I cleaned out my cache and cookies and history yesterday trying to fix it. Nothing.

There is a limit on thanks you can give in a day.
I believe when your out of thanks, the button disappears...

It was gone all day yesterday...came back for 4 and went away again. I guess I'm thanks happy?

I have never seen a thanks button either and just googled it and ended up here. I am a paid member but only have a few posts. Do I need a certain amount of posts. I tried IE and chrome and different computers.

  From reading other posts, if you don't have something to actually add to the conversation, a thanks is preferred and just saying thanks is considered bad etiquette and might be done to just increase ones post count.

I guess I just reached my threshold because the "Thanks" button just appeared. It came up right after post #5 so I guess 5 is the magic number.
