New in PIPs.. One Question

Hi,

My name's Gaurav (fisker) and I am from India. A blogger by profession.
I just enrolled in PIPs yesterday. Signed up for SFI so far. I am working on having a credit card arranged without which I cant sign up for MWP. Hopefully I will have it by evening.

I wanted to ask if I can use an existing site for this thing. Since the theme we are working on is "make money online" and I already have a blog which ranks on google 1st page for keyword - "earning online"

And some of the posts also rank on 1st page. Type money / earning / make money from speedyshare

Is it a good idea ? Can I or should I use it ?

I have done lots of directory submission and forum posting and blog commenting and various other stuff to promote it. There was a time when it had around 100+ rss readers too and alexa was below 300K. unfortunately the site is dead for the last year and a half but still ranks on 1st page for that keyword which I was once fighting for. The BLs have fallen but I know I can get it back.

But the site is not on hostgator and I dont know how to move it but found an eBook on this forum and I will go through it as soon as I know if i can use this blog.

We do require a HostGator hosted, registered domain name where we can build your PlugInProfitSite.

HostGator can help you move your files if you want to have your blog in a subdirectory or subdomain.

Re: your blog - you can make it a second PlugInProfitSite just by using your PIPS links there. Backlink it to your website would be one of the main ways the blog and site work in tandem.

WordPress blogs that are the top level domain name work quite well as a website and you could plan on taking your PlugInProfitSite in that direction if you want to see it that way.

Just to make sure I understand it correctly I am to get a new domain name from hostgator and hosting from them too.

I am not suppose to get a domain from GDI - I will just be promoting it for making money ?

If so while trying to create an account they ask to register a domain name. How do i get around it ?

i went through some threads and others are having the same problem.
