| Hi everyone, This post came about on a whim, lol, it's the story of how I learned to keep my wallet closed. I used to work in a factory, I ended up getting some chemical burns that caused some serious problems. It cost me my job, and now I get allergic reactions to some chemicals that are very common. Being that I was unemployed, and returning to any job in my field seemed unlikely due to the chemical allergies, I started looking into internet business opertunities. I read some articles, checked out some offers, even got involved in some. I treid some of the paid survey stuff, the free to join of coarse, they did not work well for me. It seemed like finishing there offers always cost more than the survey paid, maybe thats because they were free sites. I came across an ad one day, I thought it looked good and I decided to try it out. I got the materials and set myself to reading and studying. I didn't do anything else, for about a week. Then I went to the website, and started doing the things they said to do. It couldn't have been an hour from signing in to the website, my phone rang. It was a represtative of this company, he was a very good salesman. I bought their "upgrade" to "fast track" my business. Literally minutes later another call, a rep from a different "section" of the company. Needless to say, after a couple of their reps picked my pocket, the support and mentoring they made sound so good turned out to be non-existing. I'm not happy with the amount of money it cost, it was an expensive lesson. What I really am bothered by, is the fact that I found an ad from Stone in an old and unused e-mail account. It was dated just a couple days before my first purchase from this other company. Ironc isn't it, where would I be now had I made the other choice. Oh wait a second, I'd be here. My business would be much farther ahead than it is, and I would own an LLC in Wyoming as I live in New York lol. I wouldn't have wasted so much time when I could have been growing a business. That is the story of how I learned to keep my wallet closed and how I came to be where I am. It's a valuble lesson to learn, wishing I had made the other choice won't change it. I realized that a long time ago, moving on after the lesson learned is what eventually brought me here to PIPS. In closing it seems like something about circle's would be appropriate, but it escapes me at the moment. Thanks for listening to my ramblings, Mike ![]() |

Allen, You have seen my writing in posts here and possibly even seen some of my blog post. I don't think my writing skills are quite up to the task of the blogging contest. I am surprised anyone can read half of what I wright. LOL After looking at that post again, I should expand it and possibly use it as an article to promote my PIPS sales page. |

Yes, I've seen your writing and don't know what you're talking about. It's all just fine. I do appreciate how you give thought to what you write and do what you know how to help others. I don't know of anything more important than that. It will help someone else get ahead and it will be what gets you ahead also. An old friend of mine has a motto "he who serves most profits best" so you are on your way. |

Good post Mike. It is certainly possible to make money without spending money on the Internet today. However, it will become important as you do make money to reinvest some of your profits back into moving your business forward. Not a lot though. I do not spend more than $500 a month on my business and do this full time now, so an internet business can be operated pretty cheaply compared to a traditional brick and mortar business. |
