We started this program about a month ago and we are doing all that we can to succeed. Here is our problem. We tried to validate both our website and blog through W3C and got a ton or error messages. Neither of us are computer wizards and not the frustration is setting in. We are working 10 hrs or more a day on getting things up and running. We have a can do attitude but things like this just overwhelm us. We have sent emails to pips support. I know that we have to crawl before we walk but sometimes it just get too overwhelming and you start having second thoughts. Suggestions or comments? |

Hi - I am glad you took my advice to come here since all members experience the same issues and have had to deal with them. Here is a link to a thread that discusses one particular issue recently. http://www.warriorforum.com/plug-pro...webmaster.html There are always going to be obstacles - we just need to work through them and if we can't, go around them. Don't let anything discourage or overwhelm you. Just let everything be an opportunity to learn something. Good luck. |

I decided to take a little browse at W3C and the errors are many. Funny I have quite a few where I start a link, http://. It is telling me I am not suppose to have the red start tag with my end tag (maybe that was the other way around)? Maybe someone should tell them you need both forward slashes with links? Probably have more than 50 (that's where I stopped counting) telling me I am not suppose to have the # sign in front of the numbers for color attributes. My consensus, use Google web master tools to find errors. Last time I looked Google found 14 on my site and I fixed them easily. They were all missing redirects. W3C found over 700 errors all similar to the above. I can't fix (actually I won't fix) what isn't broken. Here is an interesting fact. Visitors do not care about W3C error messages. Drive traffic to your website and you can make money errors or not. I do understand because I looked into all that stuff when I first started also. After a while you learn the only important thing is getting traffic. |

I got a little curious and plugged in several web sites to see if they had errors. Some of the sites were from the top PIPs marketers and even SEO "experts". They all had errors. One of them who makes great money online had so many errors it couldn't read them all. Another one who is also making good money only has some messed up unicode and his site can not be read, it failed validation. He's making money but he's not validatable. (that's not a word?) I am thinking, it's hard for me, that I wouldn't worry about it. |

I read somewhere recently that about 95% of the websites on the internet have validation errors. It's not something to get worried or worked up about - the majority of websites have HTML errors or warnings when you validate them and most marketers I imagine will have better things to do than fix them all ![]() In severe cases search engine bots may stop reading your web page if there are too many errors, but if your site is already indexed in Google then you don't need to worry. On the other hand, if your site isn't indexed and you are feeling worried about it, register for Google Webmaster tools and you will find out soon enough if the bots can't spider your site. Cheers, Suzanne |

Hi, I worry more about traffic and making money than errors. A Couple of years ago I remember going through mine and fixing every single error.... Then I thought to myself....why do that unless your not indexed..and since I am...thats all I care about... Take care Jeff |
