JWPlayer makes posting videos easy. Simply upload a video to YouTube, google loves YouTube, then copy the URL paste in the player and it's there.

From the submissions, it's like All-In_One SEO is the best SEO Plugin. It so happens that it's the one I use.

Re: Best WordPress Plugin

Before I install any SEO plugin and before I publish content there is one plugin that I install first: All in One Webmaster

WordPress › All in One Webmaster « WordPress Plugins

The reason is because this plugin provides a one-off interface with options to add my domain(s) to all of the major search engine webmaster utilities and major trackers:

1) Google, Bing, Alexa, Blog Catalog, Yahoo's Webmaster and Analytics code or meat tags.
2) Single click sitemap submission to Google, Bing, Yahoo and Ask.
3) In addition to that it has option to add tracking code for Clicky, Quantcast, Compete.com, SiteMeter.com analytics!! Site-Verification-Option, Google XML sitemap submission.

Plus much more.

Other favorite feature of the plugin is the simple interface to add your site to:
Google Webmaster Central
Bing Webmaster Central
Yahoo Site Exlorer
Alexa Rank
Personal note:I do not use Alexa other than amusement
Blog Catalog
Facebook Insights
http://s.wordpress.org/extend/plugin...1.png?r=532590

My preferred SEO plugin is Platinum SEO Pack:
WordPress › Platinum SEO Pack « WordPress Plugins

and the Addon for Platinum SEO Pack that searches your published posts and pages, that don't contain a Title, Meta Description and Keywords.:
WordPress › Missing Data Platinum SEO Pack Plugin, Add-on « WordPress Plugins

Here are my reasons for Not using 'All in One SEO' and 'Yoast':
1) Both are free, but they are commercial plugins that add advertisements

and

2) News Content

inside the WordPress Admin Control Panel.

This means your blog connects to those websites, so that the content is served resulting in slow performance of the WordPress Admin Control Area.

Also, I do not trust any plugin that forces me to connect to a website for commercial purposes.

Jeffery 100% :-)

I posted to use YouTube but that is a mistake. Youtube when finished playing displays more videos giving your customer an easy out, you don't want that. Instead use Vimeo, just as easy and no escape at the end. Only your video shows.

Re: Best WordPress Plugin

I have All-In-One-SEO on most of my niche sites, but not so long ago i had some issues with server resource usage on a site and when i contacted HostGator support their reply suggested I remove it from my website.

This is directly from HostGator:
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. We found that there were some items that should be addressed prior to enabling public access to the account.

Replace All In One SEO Pack and any other seo related plugins with Greg's High Performance SEO Plugin. (WordPress › Greg's High Performance SEO « WordPress Plugins)

I don't have the explanation in an email but the gist of it was that the All-In-One SEO pack utilizes some sort of hack code to make it work.

I did replace it on that one site, but i can't say i've noticed any difference because of it... i still use all-in-one on my other sites.

Re: Best Wordpress Security Plugins

Please keep in mind that securing a WordPress site is about more than installing a plugin. It's about a mindset. In addition to installing a plugin here are some things you should consider:

1. Replace the user 'admin' with a new admin level user, whose username mixes letters, numbers and characters
2. Give your new admin user a password that also mixes letters, numbers and characters
3. Change your Nickname so it's not the same as your Username
4. Change the wp_ prefix in database table names
5. Use SFTP rather than FTP
6. Move the wp-config.php file up a level if you can - remember that with some hosting configurations this will not work.
7. Make sure all critical folders have a blank index.html file
8. Keep all plugins, themes and the WordPress core up to date
9. Delete plugins and themes that you're not using (don't just deactivate them)
10. Then install a security plugin - and the one I use and recommend is Wordfence.

The second part of this article, under the heading 'How do I prevent my site being compromised again', gives more details:

Martin.

I think the best "SEO plugin" is write unique and valuable content, headers and titles. Together with Google XML Sitemap, a great htaccess file and a robot.txt. I have multiply blogs and all ranked top10 without any seo plugins. Wordpress is the SEO Tool

If you're looking for the closest thing to a perfect plugin, check this one out.

You don't need to purchase a 97-147 theme, you don't have to purchase tons of plugins to make your site feature rich, and since it's just one plugin, you don't have to try and figure out how to get all the plugins to work together.

I bought it, and dang glad I did. This may be the last major plugin I will ever need.

Check it out here

I agree "Wordpress SEO by Yoast" is the best SEO plugin I have used, it lets you know what needs fixing, so you can optimize your post before it is published.

Not every post is going to be a perfect 100%, in fact it is not natural for every post to be perfect, so i sugest you you aim for 80% and above and not be so hard on your self.

It is more important to get your message across, in a clear natural way

All In One SEO Pack for WP is OK, but I still prefer WordPress SEO by Yoast. It does a lot more including your sitemap.

I would not worry about little things like your plugin giving a false reading, what is more important is that your content be unique and up to date and coming from the heart, just like I am talking to you right now.

Good Luck
