I Just Got My First 2 subscribers!

I just got my first two subscribers. It may sound silly to the experienced, but I'm super excited. At it for just over a week and a half, having no clue if what I'm doing is right, just kept following the steps and YAY! I got two.

To get a mailing list, I gave away a free wallpaper photo. And I've gotten 30 subscribers in two days!

And I just used Twitter, and put the link on one of my emails that I send out every monday-friday!

Hey,

Well done Mark.

That's a big milestone. When I got my first subscribers I screen captured them for posterity with Jing.

Now I have a great collection of screen captures - my 1000th website visitor, my 1st sale. etc. etc. I have about 150 pics at the mo - makes a nice digital scrapbook, reminds me how far I've progressed and motivates me to keep going.

Excellent idea, Garry! Having something like that as a personal reminder is a great motivational tool. I once read about this guy who wanted to buy a brand new Cadillac. He printed out a picture of the exact model he wanted and posted it next to his computer. He kept telling his wife that he was going to make enough money to buy it one day. She thought he was crazy. Months later he came home in the Cadillac.

Never give up on your dreams.
