Hi All,

I want to redirect www.replaceyoursalary.com/articles to www.replaceyoursalary.com/articles.htm.

I found code somewhere online while searching to put in my .htaccess file which is:

redirect 301 /articles/ http://www.replaceyoursalary.com/articles.htm

Unfortunately it isn't working.

Any ideas?

Alan,

are both of these hosted on hostgator?

If so, from your hg control panel scroll down to domains and select "redirects"

You can set up your 301 redirects in there.

ps the link www.replaceyoursalary.com/articles is getting a 404 error but I'm guessing you know that!

Yes. I have Darrin McLaughlin from PIPSiteHelp working on getting my article directory back up and running again. I wanted to redirect it in the meantime.

There's an issue that I need to call my host about. Not sure what the problem is. I'll get the redirect taken care of sometime today.

I setup a redirect through the HG control panel, but it won't work. I have no idea what's going on. I'm going to call HG support because the article directory should be working, and so should the redirect. This is the only problem I have right now, so it's not too bad... LOL.
