I've also been checking out Forbes for topics as well, not necessarily for money niches but alot of their articles have to do with things involved with making money.

That's much nicer, the black gives a real nice contrast for the red.

You may even consider changing the color of the thread titles as well, possibly make them black with the hover color being red...

I would agree with this.

You should be aware though that in the future if your site gets HUGE and has massive amounts of users and visitors, you will need to be prepared to modify your WP install...

I would have to agree. It isn't free to start out, but for the amount of time saved just in finding relevant blogs to post comments on...it's like getting paid to use the software.
