Yahoo is definitely slower at recognizing new backlinks, and consequently rankings.
Make sure your keywords are in the <title> tags on your site as yahoo gives significant weight to this in terms...

It's just different algorithms. That's all there is to it. Your content is going to be treated differently. Your backlinks are going to be weighed differently. Also, what I've noticed in my case...

I always find that Yahoo is a lot slower to index and rank my sites but in the long run, I usually rank better over there. But it takes a couple of months for them to catch up.

When I'm in a hurry using Micro Niche Finder, I sometimes get my IP banned for a while too. Usually it only lasts a few hours or so. You must have been plugging in search after search, huh?
