Hey guys...how do we add a youtbue video to a post or WSO?

Can't figure this out...please help....Where do we the embedd code ?

Just use the "Share Code" from the YouTube video (not the embed code) and place it within a Link in the BB code for your post or WSO.

There is no need to embed it with the code, just use the share code and drop it in the BB link, then it should show up.

It is simple. You have to use Share Code on the YouTube video and place it within a Link in the BB code for your post.

Thought I would also add the following...

Go to advanced options

Make sure your "Automatically parse Link in text" is ticked
and also "Automatically embed media"

and just for the record, the video does not show in the preview mode, only when the post is published...

I think you can get the embed code from youtube's link. Embedded code given there at end of the video.

Upload the video to YouTube.

Copy the URL of the page containing the video.

Paste the URL into the forum's "reply" box where you want your video to go.

That should do it...

Just use bb code to add video or add url of the link.but in some blog or site the block "a" tag,so it is better to use the bb code. But ensure the before adding the bb code whether is On or not in the posting rules dialog box.

After much frustration, I figured this out. Youtube now uses https instead of http, at least for me, so I had to remove the s on https from my link and bam now it works.

Few hours back, I was searching the same, but nothing worked out, then I contacted their customer support. I was doing a silly thing which many of you must have did

To make it work, just
1. Copy the video URL,
2. Go to your post > edit > go advanced
3. Click the icon "Insert Link" and then paste your link in the dialog box
4. Hit Save Changes and its there

Note: Preview Changes won't show the video
