HOW DO YOU ADD YOUTUBE VIDEOS TO WARRIOR FORUM POSTS?

QUESTION: I'm trying to add a YouTube video to a warrior forum post by using youtube embed code, but it won't view. I've tried via the view html source option and the HTML editor standard view but doesn't work. Is there a particular way of doing this?

ANSWER: Its far simpler than you think, just insert the YouTube video link into your post, here are some screen shots with some specifics...

STEP #1) Locate video on YouTube and then ....

STEP #2) Then choose 'Go Advanced' within WF html editor ....

STEP #3) Make sure these are ticked....

STEP #4) Then you you end up with this:

Just copy the video URL here and make sure you have the option

Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on).

No it doesn't I have checked and I have 2 videos alreday posted, see example here:

Just a quick heads up for anyone trying this.

The video doesn't show up in preview mode, only after you post it.

Thought I was doing something wrong, but finally just posted it and it showed up.

In many forums with BB code, you just put [YOUTUBE] [/YOUTUBE] tags around the embedded code and it works.

I have found that it won't work if you center it. It seems that it automatically will center it when you post it.

It seems this does not work for the Warrior Forum Blog that war room members get access to. I post the link and it just makes a URL out of it but will not embed.

I did something wrong, but in the end just posted it, it shows. BB code is in many forums, you just put [YOUTUBE] [/ YOUTUBE] tags around the embedded code and it works.

This doesn't work with modified url, for example, with "embed" (the new iframe format), or "rel=0".

This is shockingly bad, it means I can't use my sales video because of all the sh*t youtube wants to show everyone afterwards.
