Hi All,

The current captcha script I am using is giving error "Please enter valid code" even if correct code is entered. Sometimes script work fine but after few days it gives error message. I am loosing good number of leads due to this periodically.

Can you recommend some easy to implement and reliable capthca script.

Thanks for your time !

Recaptcha is good, but to be perfectly honest, I've found simple captcha's work better than complex ones.

By simple I mean just a basic math equation that most people SHOULD know (Some don't :S) and have them answer it. Most bots can't detect those, or are programmed to see them so it stops them in their tracks.

Get free website thumbnails for your site. Paid available too, of course.

I use a custom very simple lightweight script. I have now switched over to this one on all of my blogs as well because it seems to catch more. If you're interested, just send me an e-mail. matt@snidge.com

Confident CAPTCHA is a good one. It's a clickable, picture CAPTCHA that's much easier on legitimate website visitors than those hard-to-read text CAPTCHAs that force your visitors to decipher impossible text. Confident CAPTCHA simply presents the visitor with a grid of pictures and asks them to click on specific pictures to verify that they are human. (e.g. "Click on the pictures of the cat, the flower and the car).

Those text CAPTCHAs that are so hard to read annoy users and can lead to higher abandonment rates because they get frustrated with the captcha and give up. Having a picture based CAPTCHA that is easier to use might help increase your conversion rates on your leads.

reCaptcha is pretty good and a lot of people use it now.On my blog I have a captcha that is "Type the word 'human' in this field: ____" and it basically stopped 100% of automated spams. Same idea as James'. Do something unique to your site and it can be very simple and still effective.
