    Hey Micheal,

I learn't from youtube and the free resources around. However, it would be wise to invest in a good website creation wso as there are updates on what plugins to use and themes for your specific niche.

It is worth investing in good quality information and that's how I know how to generate a php video website in any niche. I just had a client ask me to make him a video website on Chelsea football team's famous goals and victories. So I am currently working on this project which will have thousands of Chelsea goal videos.

I personally support Chelsea and will enjoy doing this project. So my advice is to do your research, look at the free resources out there, take notes and to really keep updated with recent updates you will need to read the threads on the WF and buy a quality wso on the subject. All businesses involve an investment but the benefits are good.

It all depends what you want this site to do, as Rossy said look for resources on youtube and the easiest way is wordpress, you can always find a theme or a plugin to fit your needs.
    Good luck

I don't know your experience level with server setup but you may want to look at Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress to determine if you want to use a CMS. It all depends on what you want the site to accomplish as others have mentioned. Make a plan on paper then move to putting the plan into action.

You have received excellent advice, and there is one more option.

If this is for an offline niche and you purchse your hosting from Godaddy, they give you the free use of Website Tonight.

This is a website builder that is easy to use for a newbee, and Godaddy offers free 24 hour/7 days a week support. This is how I built my first site.

I agree with them. You can try out tutorials found over the internet for introductions. They could help a lot. And if you prefer visual tutorials, try out the awesome videos at youtube. These things actually helped me make out my site. Researching and reading counts a lot.

Let me know if I can help you Warrior to Warrior.

    Good luck

Online web builder Many web hosts offer a free website builder like Site Studio which come with a choice of templates for your pages, included in the web hosting package. This gives you limited control of what you can change but you don't need to learn much about HTML or web page code.

2 ways to set up a website

    1. Online web builder - Many web hosts offer a free website builder like Site Studio which come with a choice of templates for your pages, included in the web hosting package. This gives you limited control of what you can change but you don't need to learn much about HTML or web page code.

    2. Set up Wordpress on your own site - Although Wordpress is a blogging platform it is fast becoming synonymous with a content management system - With thousands of wordpress templates to choose from you are bound to find one which suits your website. Choose this option if you want to post a LOT of content and create a lot of web pages. Using a content management system like Wordpress will save you so much time in the long run.

If you have no experience in website design or website creation you can simply sign up for a blogger or wordpress account. Its free and you can use their pre made templates. Learn how these types of website work so you get an idea how you want your actual website will look like when you finally decide to build it from scratch.

4.Using the HG CP find Quick Install or Fantastico
5.Install whatever type of web site you like using one of the above
pointing it when the install begins to the addon domain you creted
You can install almost any type of web site with this 2 programs for 2 min.
    From Wordpress to Ecommerce, etc.

    6. Customise your site via templates, etc. This stuff is at the back end of your newly installed site/ admin section.

That's All. Don't mess with programming when starting.
All the above will cost you like 60$ for an year and you can install as many subdomains as you like, of course you should choose the second cheapest plan from HG, not the cheapest. I hope this helps!

First, become a badass. Then all else will follow.

    W3Schools may also help.

But none of this will compare to many months of trial and error. Come up with a website idea and make it happen.

Don't worry too much about how to do it. You can find free resources online to do anything.

    Just do it.
