Some themes, have a control panel to allow you to manage the appearance of the site's title tag. Check that first and if not...

You need to find where in your theme that the title tag is written (most likely in header.php), then you can edit it there.

If you have access to the site via FTP (you should), you can locate the header.php file (that's the most likely place for the title tag to be controlled). Once you have that file open in a text editor, you can search for the title tag (it will begin with <title) and edit it as you like.

You should make a backup copy of the header.php file just in case your edits are incorrect and screw up the PHP parser.

Rrahman,

If you are using some kind of SEO plugin, your main blog (site wide) title should be stored in those settings. If not, try clickbump’s suggestion of editing the header.php file.

You may also find some help in this thread,

How to change meta title of WP blog ???

hope that helps,

Shawn
