can you log into the host with FileZilla? If so, just create a folder called "videos"

Then, when you send the link, it will just be like this...

www.domain.com/videos/video1.mpg

Replace above with the actual domain and video file name. Try it from your browser first to make sure it works.

You really don't even have to do that. If you want, just put the files in the root folder of your site (public_html, usually). As long as there are no other files there, you just give out the domain address - www.domain.com - and visitors will just see a list of your 3 files.

Easy Peasy! but not with one and one, they've already hijacked your index.html file on your account and sending themselves targeted traffic from this post here.

You need to log in to your hosting account and change the index.html page to stop them doing that.

Then you need to use a wisiwg website builder package to make the pages you want to show to your visitors, not the ones one and one want to show.

one and one really don't make it easy for anyone to publish their site, there is no public_html folder there is only the.........

Aryona you need one and one hosting to realise how bad it really is............ they don't do public_html they do ... unbelievably stupid paths, that make no sense at all.

And if you want a mysql - good luck in finding that baby! or even how to link it up. (I can do it, but why do they make it so complicated? - )
