Hello Fellow Warriors, I've been wondering how come more and more buyers are looking for links on digital magazines sites like theepochtimes, utsandiego, etc. when these types of links are very risky for the following reasons 1. The contributor's account may get banned anytime when Google learned they're selling links and if they fail to keep the quality 2. And because of that, the links may not be permanent 3. You won't be able to get a refund when the links got deleted After all the risks, still more and more buyers are still buying links on them. I don't know why. Is it because they weigh the links better than the risks? But if it will only harm them, why get links on such sites when they can get the same quality from other sites cumulatively? Link buyers, I want to hear your side please. I have bought the same type of links many times before only to find out at the end that they are not worth it. I lost most of my clients because my post got deleted with the seller's account. Strictly no bashing here! |

I believe I stated this in another response to a similar question (either posted by you or someone else - I forget). Links inside high traffic newspapers/magazines aren't necessarily designed for link juice, Cottonmouth. These tend to generate traffic since the readers tend to actually read the articles and follow the resources within. And, of course, when the links are clicked, your site is seen in a more favorable light - regardless if dofollow or nofollow (which those attributions matter nothing - weight is weight - and only differentiate whether Google crawls to your site or just acknowledges the link). |

Good point LordOfSeo! Perhaps buyers on these sites are not really after the linkjuice but for the traffic. But there is nothing as good as links that will give both - traffic and linkjuice. |
