    According to me, they are related to each other for the reason when you do off-page SEO in the niche then for sure you will get good CRO and your client will make some good money. But, if there will be no CRO, 65% or more of SEO industry will be vanished. If there will be conversion then there will be SEO.
    In current era, it is pretty tough to assure rankings but CRO is something that you can assure to your SEO client. If you will achieve rankings with SEO then also there will be huge conversion cause you will get maximum exposure through search engines. Well, conversion is something that you can get with ads but that is not really affordable until you are going to use black hat methods.

    They are intimately united, Google puts great effort to interpret the searcher intention. A high conversion website, will send important signals to google like pages visited, time spent on time, low rebound rate, a lot of direct traffic and brand searches... This will lead to better positioning...
    ...and a better positioning in key niches and keywords will increase conversion optimization.
    It's a wonderful feedback loop that can lead you to success.
