    This question is a big vague so I'll just give a general answer. SEO will help you get organic traffic. It works for me. I also find backlinks from certain key websites help me get organic traffic from Yahoo search.
    How does organic traffic help my website? I look at the stats and I make improvement from what I learn.

      Rank your target keywords top of the search engines.That keywords should have some level of search volume.Then you will get organic traffic via search engines.If you have an eCommerce website you will generate leads,sales, comments via that traffics.

    I agree with using SEO (onpage and offpage) to generate organic traffic. I think it is the most effective way if you want to have unique site visits.

      Your home page website is more focussed on keywords instead of providing actual facts / benefits / features.

      your website is not canonicalized properly and i do not think so it is good practice to have slider without any text visibility

      you need to work on meta titles.
