Hi guys,

Looking for a keyword tool that generates user intent for a large list of keywords I import. Can you please recommend one?

The only one so far I have found is TwinWord but not sure how good it is and whether it is worth the investment or not.

OVERALL - understand the results will not always be 100% accurate and you will need to check manually at times but I'm looking for a reliable tool that can generates these intents as a guide.

Let me know.

Thanks!
David

I didn't know that such a tool even existed. I've always just looked at the keyword phrases in a list and used the tool I was born with - my brain - to determine user intent.

What do you mean by user intent?
There is no tool that can give you user intent.
If I got it wrong, then please elaborate your question.

Actually, if you look at the tool that the OP mentioned, you will see that they claim to be able to measure user intent from a list of keywords that the tool generates. Honestly, I had never heard of such a thing, nor had I ever considered that such a thing would exist - again, because I always just look at KW phrases, myself, and decide how much intent there is.

The premise of the question is kind of pointless, I must admit. He is wondering if the tool is "worth it". They have a free version of the tool that he could try to see if it spits out reliable information, so I don't know why he just doesn't try it out. And, of course, you can try it out live online, right there on their site, too.

I've subsequently looked at the tool and the user intent seems to be pretty accurate. Like so many other tools, though, it includes totally irrelevant information like "number of competing websites", as if that has anything at all to do with whether or not you can rank. How hard it will be to rank for any given phrase is based on just the strength of websites on page one and is the key component that is missing from the tool.

I could be wrong, but the thing that sends alarm bells ringing in my head is that, although it is a "subscription service" and they list monthly prices, it looks like you can only pay annually, so you can't really pay $14.99/month for their Pro version and then cancel it after a month. They seem to be forcing you to pay for a whole year up-front ($179.88) and there does not seem to be any sort of satisfaction guarantee or full trial period.
