Does primary keyword is required in the every page title?

Hi all,

We can see many website page titles are filled with "primary keyword" along with their "brand name" at suffix of the page titles. Just like some SEO websites may add SEO at every page title... XYZ SEO. Just wondering how much this gonna help to rank homepage for the primary word. Will this influence ranking for primary keyword? Or can we remove "primary keyword" from other non-relevant pages and limit the same to important pages to rank well?

    Google ranks individual pages, not entire websites. It is a best practice to have your targeted keyword phrase in the meta title of the targeted page. Each phrases that you want to target should, in most cases, have its own optimized page.

    Keep in mind that this is only one of hundreds of things that Google uses to rank websites.

    No , Primary keyword can work better in a single page title , If you want to place that use H1 tag in other page , Alt Attribute , meta descriptions etc .

    Hi Michael,

    Dave said it; this is one of many Google ranking factors. I'd not use the same keyword in more than 1 title. Pages should be unique, with topics like: About, Contact, Business Services, etc....

    For good ASO use keywords that people frequently use when looking for an app like yours. Put them in the app description and possibly in the title. The description should contain all details about app and features.

    you can use the main keyword in Title it helps Google recognize what the page is gonna about. It's a good practice to use. you should use your main keyword in Title, Description and first 100 words of content.

    It's not necessary but the main keywords describe the page if you want to use the primary keywords in the title then you can try to include your primary keyword in the title of every page but only when it is desirable and practical. You can also use variables for your primary keyword like semantics or secondary keywords.

    Yes absolutely. How else would you tell not only the search engines but also your customers what the post/article is about. Page Title is the most important signal as the customer is going through the search results in a hurry. If the keyword catches his attention he will click on it.

    No, but it's a good practise as it will help google to reorganize what the page is about as page title is the most important signal as when customer is going through hundreds of search results in a hurry. If the keyword catches his attention he will click on it.

    The main keyword or the primary keyword should be in Title, H1 in the first 100 words of content and in the description. Make sure the main keyword should tell about whats inside the page.

    What we ideally do is place primary keyword in Title tag, first paragraph in the content and H1 Tag. We use LSI keywords related to primary keywords in the content body to maintain the relevancy for better search engine results.
