Hey Warriors,

I have a medium competition keyword with search volume of 22000. It's on the 3rd page for about two months. It's not going up and keeps idle with its phrase related match keywords. Did off page with contextual backlinks and also acquired link from wikipedia tooo. But not moved up.. Then I optimized with on page metas, content structures nothing helps. Can anyone help me to improve my ranking better?

  • Do you have a Google Search Console account? It will help you to identify any onsite issue/errors that are preventing your website from ranking highly? How long does your site take to load? Sites that take longer to load may suffer in rankings as a result. Also, is your website mobile friendly? If not, that may also be another contributing factor to why it is stagnant in the SERP.

Have you also applied the OFF-PAGE ? What is your recent offpage style?

Try to double up your offpage style or do some alternative style.

You need to be sharing your content and promoting that article you want to rank for. Take an article and break it down into snippets that you can share on different platforms. Create an infographic that relates to that article and post it on social. Answer quora related questions on your topic and link back to your article.

According to multiple sources, the average time for websites to rank on Google through optimization (SEO) techniques is about three to six months. That's right - jumping to the front of Google's results usually takes between 90-180 days, depending on the competitiveness of your industry and popularity of your keywords.

SEO is no longer a simple process of adding backlinks. For ranking, the website has to pass many tests. Backlinks are just one of them.

If you are not ranking despite adding links, you should analyze the website, both for on-page and off-page SEO. In addition, there are website issues to be checked. For instance, page load, page code content, JS & CSS, etc.

You need to learn more about the various aspects of SEO yourself or hire someone who does have the right expertise in the niche or segment you want to rank.

    Best of luck!

What are your competitors doing, I mean, the guys who have the top spots?

See what they do, copy what they do and do it better. Rinse and repeat.

    Hi,
Analyze your website for onsite errors and issues, as it could be one of the reasons for preventing your website from ranking.
Try to Quora. It is a good platform. Answer questions related to your website and you can get good quality backlink.
Focus on Social Media Platforms. Even though social media marketing is not directly related to SERP, it does help you get quality backlinks thus improving your rank.
Analyze your competitors who have ranked better. Analyze their backlinks and try to get them for your website.
And ofcourse have patience, because it takes nearly 3 to 6 months for a website to rank on Google through SEO.
    Hope it helps!
    Thanks

I have seen that kind of case last year. I suggest you once you do off-page tasks don't promote your main URL in off-page work. For example, if you do article tasks on medium.com website then you should work on this link. You can promote a medium link to other off-page platforms like social bookmarking sites. (MAIN POINT) Check your google console regularly.

Contextual links from where? What type of page? If from brank new pages, you didn't do much. Get them from pages that have backlinks of their own.

      Inner backlinks: how?

Look into silo structure for SEO (Google it, or look up Yukon's posts on this forums on the subject).
