Basically I have had a campaign online for about 3 hours now and its focused on the content network, All my keywords combined is about 15k-20k daily searcher (market samurai's data). I am bidding about 20 cents a click on non competitive keywords, maybe 1 or 2 actually using google search, not sure about content. I would of thought by now I would of gotten some data from google, an impression at least. I set my campaign up as 10dollar budget for now and 20cents a click, accelerated ads and to be shown to the US. My ad's have been approved, what you reckon, should I give it a night (I am in the UK or up my bid a little?)

Adwords data is not real-time. So not surprised that after only 3 hours you see no impressions.

I was going to say your ads are probably not approved yet and therefore not yet showing. But you say they are approved.

You may not be bidding high enough for them to show.

Your low budget will limit how many impressions you get. Even more so if you increase the CPC for your ads to show.

Depending on your niche, maybe more people will visit the sites your ads will show on later in the day. So you could see more impressions in the evening than during the day. Being in the UK, you are five hours ahead for east coast, eight on west coast. If the tendency in your case is more impressions in evening (18:00 start let's say on east coast), for you it's 23:00 hours.

But I think you may not be bidding enough.

You may be able to end up at twenty cents a click, even if you are unable to start there. Google will often require higher bids until your ads show they can attract clicks.

For example, you might want to start at $.40. If your ads are clicked enough, you may see adwords average cost is $.30. Then you can lower your bid to something near that figure. Repeat over the course of a few days, and see where this process leads you. It may be above or even below your target.

What ultimately matters is how much each click earns you compared to its cost.

Unless you have good conversion rates with these keywords, i will suggest you to turn off
the content network and just focus on search network.

The reason is that the content network consists of many blog sites or sites that are
actually with lots of adsense ads designed to make money from google and these traffic are of low quality and hence the traffic from these sites may not help you to make any sales.
