How Do You Track Clicks On Adsense Pages?

Hi XFactor and other Adsense Experts.

I am new to trying to make money with Adsense and am trying to learn all I can.

After reading several adsense books and video courses, I am still not ready to set up.

None of them teach me how to actually track the clicks that are bringing me in income.

What tools do you use to see what sites/pages are earning you money?

Hi,

Welcome, thats a good question. You can use Googel analytics, its free and easy to setup. Within your Google Analytics account you can link this to an AdSense account.

There is a bit of code you need to copy in your pages but thats about it.

Once you log into Analytics, go to Content > AdSense and you should be able to see which pages generate the most reveneue etc.

Its a fantastic way of optimisaing further.

  Once I put the code it generates in my adsense pages, I don't see how it tells me which pages are most profitable.

Once you add the code, it hsoudl take about 24 hours for it to settle in, it might even take less but give it 24 hours to be safe.

Log in to your Analytics accounts, go to top part where it says OVerview: and there shoudl be somethign there about linking your accounts, get that done first.

  Does anyone know if you have to have the same email address / google account for both the adsense and the analytics in order for this to work?
  
  Also, the instrucitons say something about being invited to take part in the link.
