Is It Still True Adwords Is The Best Traffic Generating Method?

I'm hearing mixed messages from the "gurus". Some say forget about Adwords because Google is too difficult to deal with while other "gurus" say Adwords is still the best to test and drive traffic.

What do the Warrior's think?

    Adwords is great - once you've learned how to tame the beast. As far as it being the "Best"... well, that's quite subjective so I'll let others argue that.

    There are plenty of other ways to generate traffic - both free and paid. I'd just warn anyone using G to not solely rely on it b/c all it takes is you ticking them off one time - and then *poof* - all your traffic is gone.

    Adwords is awesome but there are also other methods of driving traffic...like ezine solo ads which can be even more targeted than PPC...

    It pretty much also depends what`s your purpose. If you`re going to build email lists, I would say ad swaps are better that adwords and they don`t cost a red cent.

    Adwords is fast way to get traffic but there are also other good methods...

    Adwords has two very important advantages over other PPC services. The first is superior tools and reporting features. Google simply does a much better job on all levels. The second is that it's hard to beat the amount of traffic that can be leveraged.

    Difficult? All PPC services have their rules, mostly the same or similar ones. Simply follow them and it's not difficult at all.
